(Voice;English for singing/Japanese for speaking)

[The comm turns on and she's humming softly to herself, the tune might sound familiar to those from good ol' Earth. She then starts to sing the song. Her tune is a bit off, but she's not terrible... though it's obvious that English isn't her first or best language as she mispronounces things here and there as she goes along. But all in all, anyone ( Read more... )

I'm happy people liked it.

Maybe I should sing at the Northern Lights while serving food and 'battery acid'. [She chuckles softly.]

Are you doing okay? [Is still worried about him.]

I'd have to come and cheer you on. [he gives a very weak laugh, but it's a laugh.]

I'm okay. Yeah. [He hasn't been out of their apartment since she brought him there from the hospital.]

[She laughs a little with him. She can tell he's really bothered since after coming back from the hospital... she can't honestly blame him. She only wishes she could better help him, but not knowing exactly what he's going through, she can't.]

... [She's not sure if she should just say 'that's good' or try to get him to talk more about it. But then she remembers something.]

Oh! [Moving back into the bedroom, she comes back out a few minutes later with an armful of a few different shirts. She found them in the closet and washed them with her shampoo (yay item rain) and aired them out a little so they wouldn't smell as musty. If anything they smell a little fruity from the shampoo now.]

I found these in the closet. I cleaned them so don't mind the girly smell on them. [She smiles, and offers them to Naoto.]

He puts the communicator down, a little surprised at all the shirts in her arms. He takes them gratefully, itching to get out of the ruined clothes he's wearing now.

"You shouldn't have, Shiori-san," he says, looking up at her after looking at the shirts. "I mean, you even washed them..."

She just smiles, hands clasps in front of her.

"Why wouldn't I wash them? I didn't think you'd like wearing them when they smelled all musty." and she giggles softly, "They were really dusty too. Who knows who or what could have worn them before you do, I didn't want you to get sick."

Besides, she really didn't mind. It gave her something to do.

"I'd wear them," he says, conjuring up a smile for her, then looks down at them again before taking one up in his hands.

He looks a little awkward, not sure what to do. Would she be fine with it if he took his shirt of? Probably not, girls tend to freak out over stuff like that. It's not like he has anything to hide-- she already saw his scars, so what else should he be hiding from her? On the other hand, he doesn't want to freak her out by taking off his shirt in front of her. But he can't just ask her to leave...

She just smiles at his words. He probably would have too, which was why she washed them. He'd had enough trauma since his arrival, clean shirts were just something small she could do to make it a little better. Maybe?

It's then that Shiori realizes she should let him alone. He probably wants to change his shirt after all.

"Oh! Um, well, I think I'll go make something to eat okay?" and she scuttles off to the kitchen. There's not much food, but she does get a little here and there from helping out at the Northern Lights.

"Sorry," he mutters, moving so that his back is to the door when she closes it.

It doesn't take him long to change out of the rags hanging off him (and he chucks those in a corner to clean with or something, never putting those on again). The shirt he tries on is a bit loose, but it suits him all the same-- cover up a bit of those bones. He's too thin, but he doesn't really care.

He walks out of the room and into the kitchen, smiling a little. "Thanks, Shiori-san. They fit really well. I feel much better now."
