but why would he want to turn the wheel and wouldn't the island feel the side effects again? *is confused* No wait, were the flashes in time caused by the 6 leaving the island, or the wheel turning or both. That's what's really confusing me!

Ben turned the wheel and the flashes started, because the wheel was stuck. Locke turned it again and they stopped. So there may be a chance it would get stuck again.

I just assumed that Dan was doing whatever he was doing when we first saw him in the hardhat this season. Poor Dan, though. I kind of hope his time is limited, because he's lonely and addled and kind of "gone" already.

LITTLE BEN. I don't know what his story's gonna end up being with the Losties, but I really can't wait for it to play out. I like recontextualization! Especially of Ben.
