What a wonderful prelude to the action I'm sure is to come. It sure racheted up the tension. There is so much that could go wrong and so much that could go right. This is such a cinematic chapter. I'd love to see this as a drama. Thanks for updating. I was really craving fic today.

Very much looking forward to Prince Jaejoong's appearance at court. I have a feeling much will take place.

I love the way you have the central characters constantly calming and deliberately centering themselves to avoid mistakes. Yoochun's ordeal when he was watching and waiting for a chance to rescue his brother is a tribute to how accomplished these people are. There's a reason they're at the top of their respective food chains...

And the way you're bringing all these character lifelines together is a tribute to your advanced storytelling skills.

Different king. The King of Trees (Jaejoong's dad) is the one that is about to die. The King of Mountains (KimTwins dad) is just fine and healthy.

They have learned that acting in shock is a great way to bet themselves killed :)

OMG this is it! it's coming. their plans are all in motion albeit a little adjustments on sides. i'm worried for all of them. for jaejoong who is going to court at the king's adviser's request because of his father's current status... for junho and junho who are. about to go out the next day and act as if they know nothing about changmin who will be taking that one shot at their father... and for changmin who is all alone, with no backup, about to take the most important shot of all their lives... a shot that he cannot miss...
