The feels!! This is fantastic - I love how well-meaning the interferers are (but really, Clint and Natasha don't need the help), I *LOVE* the poke at fanfic, and the visit with Peggy is just heartbreaking. I just wanna give Steve a big hug.

What a beautiful gift. In so many ways. First, I can't believe anyone would attempt -- and then hit a home run on -- so many of those prompts!! I bow before thee.

Then, you managed to hit so many of my buttons (including little wee ones I thought no one had noticed ...), it's amazing. You say you wrote this with me in mind? Woman, it's like you were inside my head. (In a good way, not a Loki-type creepy way!!!) :-)

Then for the little story-lets themselves? Wonderful. Just so ... them. I't hard to say which was my favourite passage, but this comes out near the top: "I’m about to start writing fanfiction I’m so invested ... People call you Clintasha. ... I’ll find something with lots of favorites or kudos. AO3 is probably better, though, so I’m guessing it’ll be kudos.

But that Peggy piece? That made me cry. Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Thank you.

Thank you! I have to say that I do love when fanfiction makes itself known in the Avengers' lives. Because you KNOW it would exist. I mean, come on. My students are obsessed with One Direction fanfiction (not that I introduced them to that concept AT ALL *itwasforanassignmentiswear!*.) I can only IMAGINE what real, live superheroes would attract. *facepalm*

Oh, 1D fanfiction... I know some people who read it and I try to applaud them but RL shipping is a concept that I have yet to take in...

Yeah, I was surprised to hear that's the direction their interests took, as well. I've read a couple RPF here and there, but it's VERY fleeting. Because, you know...real people... They love it, though. One of my students told me her mom took away her phone one night b/c she was staying up too late reading 1D fanfiction. Another student tried like crazy to get me read her favorite. But, um, I can't really tell those guys apart, so there wasn't much point. (I laugh.)

As a note, I really did give my class an assignment, which is how they learned about it. I teach Drama, and I had them write fic for their characters. It was actually both incredibly entertaining and a great acting exercise. :-) I definitely created some monsters, though! (Oh, and me in a classroom trying to warn high schoolers about what they might find as they go out and start reading fanfiction? THAT was also fairly entertaining!)

I really, really want to see Darcy's revenge when they destroy her iPod. Also, this story was fantastic. I like the Clint and Natasha being together is both the focus and the most solid thing about the fic. It's everybody else that makes it weird; they're just going with the flow. Excellent story!

I like the image of them being all chill and vaguely amused at the confusion of others. :-) I also have this image of Darcy's iPod stuck to the wall with an arrow. Possibly in an electronically-fried state. LOL
