Turns out there is nothing for me here on Tuesdays. My role, as is Ashley's is to keep the phones from annoying accounting. We do like getting paied. Come noon that job ends, though if the phone never rings callingit a job is a rather dubious title ( Read more... )

So he took the overnight shift. Happily.

The only upside is that the position is a safer one. He is in essennce the lab tec, or the quality control manager. Whatever you want to call it. So it is much safer, and come with a dollar raise, effective immediatly. The night shift will start in about a month.

So...one more month.

So Bill comes home with the news that yes he passed his Forklift test, but he is probably going to be working the graveyard shift. The man couldn't figure out why I was upset. The factory is going to open with 12 hour shifts and work it's way down to 8 once everyone is trained and it's going full blast. I'm guessing he forgot what's happening the ( Read more... )

Well I went home sick yesterday, can we afford it... maybe? But I could barely talk and I answer phones for goodness sakes. So for some reason I dread I was in a B horror movie. A creature flick to be exact, though which creature changed as the dream progressed. I know there was a long time with WoW-esk style spiders.
