The big news over the last couple of weeks in D&D-fanboyland has been a potential wrench thrown in the machinery of the latest design efforts for the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game. WotC made the official announcement today that what everyone thought was going on is going on and will begin play testing soon - 5th edition D&D. This is pretty huge news in the role-playing game industry and has even made it out to the New York Times.
