Querying has begun again

Trying again but it's much the same. I began querying again for WANTED: CHOSEN ONE, NOW HIRING and I'm doing my Google searches of the agents I'm going to submit to. It's always good to find their nuances if you can. Some people prefer being called by their first names. Some people don't. It's good to find that information ( Read more... )

I was so good at Red Light/Green light. Even though my brothers ALWAYS cheated.

Sorry the query front is looking like a Midwestern ghost town. I am sorta afraid of the same thing happening to me when I am ready to query (roughly a thousand years from now) but I am trying to forget about that and just edit the damn book.

You know what they say about out running bears though. You don't have to outrun the bear, just all of those other writers out there. Since you have a solid query and book, you're already ten steps ahead of the rest of the queries out there.

If they are closed to submissions, you probably don't want them as an agent anyway. I know that sounds trite, but I want an agent who has time for my awesome book, not one who is so busy they have to close submissions just to get their work load accomplished.

I'm crossing my fingers!
