Help needed with my Cross BigBang

Hey guys :D

So on Sunday I finally got an idea for my Crossover Big Bang. I want to write a crossover between House MD and Leverage with the main focus on an Eliot/Chase pairing.

I'm not sure yet if the rest of the Leverage team and the guys from House will be involved since I want to do something that is set in a kind of apocalyptic world. I have

I love the idea of it being set in the World War Z universe. Both Eliot and Chase have skills that would be useful in a safe zone, so there would be a lot of things to explore.

You could probably get away with doing a US civil war, mainly because the collapse of US government would happen in an entirely different manner. There is a lot of information about the collapse of Western society if you want to read it.

Regarding the Zombie stuff I had the idea of them bot being in one of those cities that are kinda surrounded by Zombies but get supplies from the government so they keep the Zombies "entertained".
Chase wanted to take one of the last convoys out but because of more Zombies arriving they couldn't leave, Eliot on the other hand can't go into the safe zone because it is tightly under military control and he is still a searched criminal maybe.

I thought that maybe the Zombies overrun the city because someone was infected inside or someone was stupid (not sure yet) and Eliot and Chase end up getting away together and having to hide in the mountains because it's to risky to go anywhere before the winter comes.

If you have some stuff you could link where I can read something about it I would be eternally grateful :D

I like the zombie story idea. I agree with notragicmercury that they would have useful skills. A civil war may bog the fic down. Concentrate on the method of getting the characters together and the conflict they have to face. A war could be a back drop, but Zombies and the apocolapse offer enough obstacles.

It'll have to wait a bit since I pushed it back and decided to write it for the AU Big Bang instead of the Crossover Big Bang because I won't be ablte to make that deadline.

Awesome! I'm not familiar with leverage (beyond the fact that it exists), but House is one of only two shows that I watch and I love post apocalypse stories so the thought of those two colliding just makes me happy.

I don't know SG-1 or World War Z, but the dystopian dynamic of #2 sounds like a fantastic backdrop for a story and truly, you can't go wrong with zombies. It also sounds like if you wanted to explore #3 that it could be done as part of #2 since the events of #2 don't exactly sound like a recipe for stability...

And as for the concerns regarding #3, I've been glued to the radio for weeks regarding that particular subject, but wouldn't see it as disrespectful to explore that civil war / revolutionary concept fictionally.

Whatever you go with, it's no doubt going to be fantastic!

I'm going for the Zombie one now because damn I really have some nice idea for it and Eliot and Chase will make an awesome couple *g*
