Help needed with my Cross BigBang

So on Sunday I finally got an idea for my Crossover Big Bang. I want to write a crossover between House MD and Leverage with the main focus on an Eliot/Chase pairing.
I'm not sure yet if the rest of the Leverage team and the guys from House will be involved since I want to do something that is set in a kind of apocalyptic world. I have several ideas but somehow I'm not satisfied yet.
So here are my ideas:
1. Crossover with SG-1 were the Goa'uld attack the Earth (I thought like the end of season 01 only they don't manage to stop it). In this case it would probably involve the guys of SG-1 too But I have no idea yet how exactly the story would go.
2. Crossover with the book World War Z. It isn't important to know the book since it's written like a factual report and I would just put my story into the setting. In the book the world is devastated by a zombie apocalypse and while all the countries struggle to somehow get a grip on things they put up "Safe Zones" were they gather and try to keep a more or less stable governement.
Out of these safe zones there's practically no help from the government except certain towns etc. who have still a population and who get weapons, food etc. so they can fight the Zombies of longer.
I thought to put Eliot and Chase either on the way trying to get to the Safe Zone because their town got run over by Zombies or fleeing into the mountains or something similiar.
3. One idea I also had was something like a civil war in the US but given what is happening in North Africa right now I'm not sure if it's apropriate.
So any thoughts? I would be eternally grateful for every idea or opinion you can give me =)
