OH LORD, ALL YOUR WIRE QUOTES MADE MY HEART DO A CLUTCHING THING. Avon wants his corners. And OMARRRRR (also, are you watching Boardwalk Empire? Because I like it well enough but for the most part it does that thing HBO shows always do where it hits my brain but not my heart or my impulse to fist pump and jump up and down. EXCEPT the moment a couple of weeks ago where the guy who played Omar delivers a fabulous speech about his dad building bookcases and then rips a guy's finger off with a some carpentry tools. That was my favorite moment of the whole series so far. Boyfriend says: "You are the weirdest person I know.")

Anyway, these were all great, cops should always shower the cocaine off together, the Gitano standoff was the most important thing that happened to me in the spring of 2006, and that moment in "The Woman in the Sand" where she comes out of the bathroom in the dress and he gapes at her? Dear David Boreanaz, I don't even mind that you are gross and filthy in real life, you know how to look at women real good.

Oh man, this is EXACTLY how I feel about this show. It's incredible, but doesn't really get to me on an emotional level. Except for Omar. But sometimes I think that's just maybe because I still see him as Omar and not as...whatever his character's name is on Boardwalk Empire (I'm really terrible about names with all the HBO shows; it usually takes at least a whole season for me to match names with people)? IDK, IDK.

the Gitano standoff was the most important thing that happened to me in the spring of 2006HEE. Oh god, I can't believe this episode happened that long ago. It's still the thing I think about when I come across an episode of SVU. It was just the most perfect moment in the whole series. Occasionally, I'll catch a new episode and watch in the that they resolve that whole "We can't be partners anymore" thing ( ... )

I'm not really so fannish about Bones, because this is the first season I'm actually watching it in real time as opposed to watching it sometimes on TNT while I make dinner and flip back and forth between it and like, Paula's Best Dishes. BUT the reason I'm watching it for real this year is because a few months ago I saw the Las Vegas one AND the Circus one in very close proximity to each other, and also one where they had to babysit an abandoned baby, and I basically was like, "I'M SORRY, AM I WRITING THIS SHOW WITH MY MIND?"

(Also, I have no idea who anybody is on Boardwalk Empire except Nucky and Al Capone. I also find the fact that Michael Pitt appears to be auditioning for the role of Leonardo DiCaprio's low-budget doppelganger extremely distracting.)

Haha, Bones is complete TV fanfic. There are so many absurd scenarios on that show that seem like they were written by 13-year-olds on ff.net, I can't even stand it. I don't understand why there's actual Booth/Brennan fanfiction, considering the show comes up with some great fic cliche every week.

Oh man, Michael Pitt creeps me out for real. I saw him in that ridiculous Sandra Bullock movie years and years ago (the title had "numbers" in it somewhere, I think) and he was a giant creeper in that and I've never gotten over it. Combine that with the DiCaprio doppleganging and...I don't know. He makes me uncomfortable.

More proof that you, dear friend, are so my TV soulmate.

I'm just gonna go down the post and react. 'Cause that's how I roll.

That last scene from Never Again BREAKS.MY.HEART. every single time. She's so tiny and alone and all he wants is to help her and make it better but neither of them can communicate or fully understand the other and oh my god it's just so damn sad. Also? Damn, Gillian Anderson is smoking hot in that episode ( ... )

YAY, TV SOULMATES!!

Sometimes I wonder if I only love s4 so much because of my enormous Gillian Anderson crush. I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH. And in that season she is so unbelievably attractive, I can't even stand it.

Last Week Fights, This Week Tights! We need to talk Gilmore Girls more often.Yay, Gilmore Girls! Anytime you want to discuss, I am completely down. I love that show more than is rational. Whenever I'm feeling down and XF is too depressing to cheer me up, Gilmore Girls does the trick. Lauren Graham is my #1 girlcrush after Gillian Anderson and I just love Lorelai an obscene amount. Plus, that whole episode is amazing! "Raincoats and Recipes" is also great (I love that whole scene in the diner where Lorelai is all ( ... )

GA played a very large role in my teenage lesbian awakening, man. She is just so damn pretty that it hurts. I always think she's beautiful but seasons 4 and 5 plus FTF are just the freaking pinnacle of Scully hotness.

(I love that whole scene in the diner where Lorelai is all nervous about Luke asking her out and so she acts like a total spaz)
I love that too! I love the conversation she and Rory have outside. "Luke can waltz." It makes me all swoony. And I totally agree about the Rory/Dean ickyness tainting "Raincoats and Recipes". I have to skip those parts of the episode because it's just gross. For me, the episode ends when Luke runs off to chase Kirk. I don't even bother with that last scene ( ... )

Seriously, Gillian Anderson is the most beautiful person I've ever seen. I legit don't understand how she's not cast in every show ever.

And, that scene outside of the diner is completely great and I've watched it so many times I can probably recite it from memory. "And since I'm currently one of the women sitting home thinking, 'If I could only find a man like Aragorn,' he picked me. I still get kind of giddy thinking about it (haha, I'm such a dork).

I'm right there with you on Rory. She's just...she's very pretty and her relationship with her mom is super-great. But she herself is not so awesome. Whenever I rewatch episodes, I usually just fast-forward through the Rory stuff (unless it's Rory/Paris stuff. Those scenes I watch and adore).

Now I wanna have a XF and GG rewatch.

I love all of your shipper moments an epic amount except for the SVU one, but that's only because I haven't seen that show. That L/L dance...oh my heart. Those two just kill me dead. And of course, the S/J flower scene owns me. <333

That shower scene in the pilot ep of Life is perfection. I didn't keep up with the show in s2 because it just didn't feel the same, but man that first season was epic.

X-Files caps! So much pretty. That first one will always be my favorite.

Season 2 of Life was a little strange compared to s1, and it definitely felt like the show was trying to be more "normal procedural" in a lot of ways (the new captain, they tried out a different partner and Dani kind of disappeared for a while, etc.), but there were still some really great episodes. Then again, I'll watch pretty much any show where cop partners might hook up.

X-Files caps! So much pretty. That first one will always be my favorite.

"Memento Mori" is my all-time favorite episode (except for when "Bad Blood" is). That last scene in the hospital is so amazing and I love how tiny Scully looks, all vulnerable and dressed in white. Plus, forehead kiss!
