Happy Holidays! Also possible fic rewrite?

Hey, everyone! Hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas celebrations so far. It’s still early at California and I woke up an an hour ago, LOL. My family and I will be eating turkey in a bit, fun times.

( Possible rewrite of my ROY AND ROSES fic, yes yes? )

I'd love to read a new version of that story! I liked the original version- how could I picture anything being wrong with an expanded one? XD

I agree, the 17th on 31_days would be great for it! (and I'm always happy to see a friend post there)

Haha always love that Kimblee icon. :P

I started a bit on the revision last night, working slowly on it. Story pretty much the same, just some changes/expansion on the description. For instance, forgot to mention the tie and shoes. XD Trying to have the expanded sex scene a little different since my reverse Big Bang also has Roy/Riza smut (no surprise there). XD

Ooh, sounds good (ha ha, the shoes will always get you!). ...I am not at all adverse to all this upcoming Roy/Riza smut. :D

LOL now I'm thinking there should be a fic where Kimblee somehow meets Olivier during the Briggs arc. He shows her flowers, but she isn't pleased. XD

The shoes is easily added, but EVERY DETAIL COUNTS. And haha, glad to hear. :P

Hahaha sorry about that -- I didn't so much dislike your take on it!!! It was just that I specifically prompted that because that person said she would write it if I did, because it had been an inside joke between the two of us, and so we had a very specific image of what it would be. OOPS for airing inside jokes in public.

That said, I totally understand the desire to redo stuff. There has been a bunch of stuff I've quietly rewritten and stealth-edited throughout the years. Sometimes you just look back on past fic, cringe, and HAVE to revamp.

Yeah, sixpences told me on my comment to her fic you guys had that inside joke for a while. Can understand if my take is something you didn't expect, my ideas/headcanon can be over the left field. cornerofmadness is the only person I know where we shared some takes concerning Roy and Riza, haha.

Had already send the rewrite to my beta (mostly the new material in the middle since the beginning and end are pretty much the same) and waiting on her comments. Probably still not as good as sixpences's but I'm satisfied overall. XD Will stealth edit the AO3 and Porn battle versions and post the edited version at 31_days when the time comes, heh.
