I was really disappointed actually. Although it was only our high school graduation, it is still a major milestone. She had an amazing resume, granted, but none of that came through in her speech. The awkward pausing and random changes from one topic to the next with no sense of where she was going or what significance there was of what she said. O well. Hopefully Oprah will talk at my college graduation. XD

Hahaha, you should definitely lobby for it. I'll probably get a relatively well-known poet or author, that's what Kenyon usually goes for. My dad gave me a book version of David Foster Wallace's speech to I think Kenyon class of 2005 or something. He is really funny.

Well whatever her name was, I was joking with Paige the whole time they were reading it and did not even realize that was the award I had won. It's pronounced Gay no matter how you spell it. XD

And thank you, although I complained at the time it ended up being a fun and....interesting night, haha. "They don't give us much computer time in jail"...............hahahahahaha.

I thought I aced it and got a D, but I ended up doing amazing fourth quarter, and thus not too shabby second semester or the year. So she can apologize for telling me I needed to show up to class more and work harder. Clearly she was wrong, because grades don't lie. I am so glad to be out as well though.
