My Final Days at the Bay

Jun 13, 2009 23:22

I was all set to write about my BU orientation experience, and then I realized I had graduated high school. XD So let me write about that first.

The series of events went as followed.
1. Math final. My only final and the near end of me, or so I thought. The fact that Mrs. Viruleg did not like me came to view at our last class. However I went into the exam with a positive attitude, making it a point to get a 100 just to show her. I got a D. Haha. However, my quarter grade was better than at any other point the entire year, even though I was never in class as she so kindly pointed out. I would say she  can suck it, but that would not be proper.
2. First rehearsal. This was uneventful, except for the fact that we got our yearbooks, which were nice. I enjoy the cover, and since I took about 50 pictures, my yearbook picture was actually nice this year.
3. Graduation rehearsal at the Cathedral. Once again, uneventful, except I parked illegally and was not prosecuted. Hehe.
4. Class Day rehearsal. This was eventful as prom was that night and I decided it was a good idea to put my feet on the seat in front of me. Someone sat down, and there goes my left foot. Bleeding I limped my way to the nurse. I wore heels that night though, just my personality. My toe still hurts, haha.
5. Prom. That was loads of fun. The food was good, except for the weird stuffing in the chicken. The location was beautiful, and I spent the time with fun people. After was even more fun and I am grateful to those who made me stop sleeping. ;)
6. Senior Awards night. I thought this was going to be uneventful, but then I won the history award and one for being "the best I can be", haha. The second one was named after Sister Gay. Plus there were some fun times out by the swings, although putting a huge bush right behind swings isn't the best planning skills I have ever experienced. Also Paige's slideshow was great! Especially the part where she had to stop it because John Mayer was talking bad words, haha. But it really was great, all the pictures and the music were wonderful, maybe because they were mostly of our group! XD
7. Class Day. I am not an emotional person, and said "I will make all of you cry, but I won't be crying myself." I wept. Not because I was going to miss the school as much as I was going to miss some of the amazing teachers I had. I knew that I would stay in touch with the people I wanted to, and the rest would just fall by the wayside. The ceremony was nice. And of course it rained as soon as we got outside.
8. Graduation. This was an exciting night as I got kinky ropes to use next year the night before I wash my sheets. (Shro, hahahahahahaha) The ceremony was military style. Special walk, sit at the exact moment as everyone else, in perfect rows, rise together, clap together, breathe in harmony. Personally I think the speaker sucked, in plain English. Last year, Mrs. Williams spoke. It was amazing and inspiring. This year I learned about the "Fab Four". This brought to mind; cliques, bitches, and the Lifetime movie where four cheerleaders tortured and I believe killed people in their school. There is woman empowerment at its best! However the singing was enjoyable, and by that I mean my singing. All the teachers bounced as soon as the ceremony ended and I didn't get to say goodbye to any of them. But I will be back no doubt.
So all in all my last days were actually a lot of fun, even though this sounds a little blah-zae. I'll miss the Bay, but after Orientation I am so excited and so ready for BU!!!!!!!!!! Although I hope our dorm doesn't have bed bugs..........read the next entry to learn more about that. Haha.
