Yes, same for me. It just reminds me for some reason of when John Peel died.

People often say that you can't choose your parents.. I just wonder if we are part of a generation that did just that in some way. Or perhaps by what they gave to us, they in some way chose us?

I think there was definitely something in the water when the likes of Postgate et al were born. Our generation were very lucky to have grown up under their influence. I would not wish to have been born at any other time myself because there seemed to be so much magic around us as children. Much of it seems to have been lost...but that is probably what all old gits like us think! :OD
