RIP Willie P. Bennett
For those of you in the US this won't mean much, unless you know Prairie Oyster's song "5-4-3-2-1 Precious Love", but that's okay. Willie P was a great songwriter, a hell of a performer, a huge drunk and druggie, and a friend of mine. Moved!
It's done and we're in our new and tiny (but Ours!) apartment. Actually for an apartment it's not tiny at all, 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bath, with a dining area connected to the living room. Moving (yes, again)
Here we are in September, the end of which is also the end of our stay here at Dove Cottage. It's been a pain in the butt being here, and I won't miss it at all. The new place is an apartment, which doesn't thrill me much, but it's 200 bucks a month cheaper than we've been paying and it's close to downtown, which is good for the gas tank.
