Delicious Monster Library is on sale at the moment for $20. Half price. I went ahead and picked it up. For now, I'll be entering barcode numbers by hand, but suppose eventually I'll want to pick up an iSight or something.

Oooo...I haven't had a chance to buy my IntelliScanner yet. This might actually be a really good, cheap alternative. Especially since I own so many different Firewire cameras. :)

You don't need an iSight. You ma already have what you need. It works with any Camcorder that has a FW connector. It uses the Quicktime video socket, which also works with a number of digital cameras that have a video mode. I haven't tried it with my Canon, but I've heard some people have had luck using them with iChat's video chat function, which uses the same Quicktime socket.

Somehow I managed to get the "new father kit" that didn't include the video camera. Eventually going to have to rectify that, I suppose.
