Summary: The courtship of Sam and Janet, as told by everyone because they haven’t worked it out yet.
Author’s Note: Inspired by the idea that Cassandra has two mommies in ‘Rite of Passage’. Just because they act like it.

I was going to make a comment on this story, and then I realized I couldn't say what I really wanted to because you haven't seen the whole series :P. But to be vague, what I was gonna say is that events from later in the series made this whole fic even more poignant and awesome than it already was, from everybody's perspective. And your writing is fantastic. And the Cassie/Daniel bits really made me chuckle, because how did I never think of that before?

I also really like how Sam is totally the last person to realize, which is so true to her character (how can someone be so smart, but so totally relationship-clueless?). And, um, Harriman needs to be in more fics, and seeing the whole 'touching in the closet' thing made me chuckle :).

It took me five months to get through the series, go figure. I ran out of Sanctuary last summer and was like "I NEED MORE AMANDA TAPPING IN MY LIFE" and then Hulu MAGICALLY had all of SG-1 ever made, available for free. I finished the whole thing yesterday, though I was done with season seven by October. Took me three months to do three seasons, which is kind of embarrassing considering how fast I tore through the previous seven.

Personally, I would never seriously ship Cassie/Daniel because he'd be too much like her dad, but then again...he is a very handsome man, and from the perspective of a teenage girl a crush would not be unreasonable. Which I say because I am a teenage girl, and therefore kind of understand the attraction xD. I think I have my first crack!ship for this fandom.

Davis is a good guy with a good heart but I always wanted to smack him a little. Harriman...my love for him only grew as the seasons went on. That guy can do so much with the same damn lines over and over.

I've watched the first 6 seasons of Stargate iiiiiiiiiiin... *ponders* Well, I finished Farscape around Christmas and went straight on to SG-1 so... a month? It can't be a month, surely... *ponders* I shall have to look through AIM history and find out later XD

This was amazing. I loved everyone's slow realization of their relationship. Cassie's teenage crush on Daniel was completely understandable. Teal'c claiming to get Daniel more cake was hilarious. I felt bad for Jack, considering Sam wasn't even aware she was rejecting him. I thought it was funny when Jacob was trying to be the supportive father and Sam just looked at him like he was crazy. Oh, and Cassie thinking Daniel taking off his glass was worse than death: priceless. This was full of funny and cute moments. Enjoy the rest of the series and return to write more!
