fremlinleaves for Toronto tonight. I emailed my boss at jewellery_store on Monday, as he requested I do when I have to ask him about the schedule, and said 'hey, can I switch my Wednesday night shift to Thursday or something so I can take fremlin to the airport?'. No response Monday, which wasn't a surprise as it was a holiday.
Tuesday I phoned to see if I could find out from him directly, since by lunchtime he hadn't answered my email. He was out at lunch. I called an hour later - still not back. And then again at 4:30 - still not there. He didn't come back at all yesterday, as I discovered this morning when I called, and apparently he was in a terrible mood. He's not in at all today. And there's only one other person on tonight, so I can't just not come in.
As a result I can't go to the airport.
Dammit.
*pouts*
However, all of that aside, I'm super-excited about fremlin starting his new job (and an excuse to leave the province and visit somewhere :), and I'm sure it will be the awesome.
