noo shooz
It seems like for the past couple of days the weather has had a sense of when I've wanted to do errands and has therefore caused the skies to open up. :P Thursday was just ridiculous, and today was almost as bad. I left work about 3:30, in a light drizzle, and half an hour later it was POURING. Bah. But I did still manage to Get Things Done.
Most importantly I finally got to Cleves this afternoon to look at new gym shoes. I found the pair I liked, but they didn't have my size, so they sent out to one of their other stores to transfer them in and I can pick them up midweek.
After that I went to look for comfy pants (since I can't currently steal fremlin's as they are in Toronto with him) and found a great pair at P'lovers. I'm really excited about them as they were just what I was looking for - plain comfy stretchy cotton pants that I can wear as light but warm pj's (since I am now lacking mr furnace fremlin). Wheee, pants!
Then we had dinner at my mom's, and I took the car to go buy crickets for the gecko face (who nibbled on my finger tonight before I fed her! silly gecko) and thought I'd check out Cleves in Sackville... closed. Took the 102 into the city and stopped in Bayers Lake to check the Cleves out there... closed also. Blah. So if I have time and if the stores do end up being open tomorrow, I'll pick them up this weekend. Yay for gym!
I should also buy a new lock since I probably won't be getting my old one back, which makes me sad as I'd had it since junior high and it had a palindromic combination.
Yay for accomplishing things! :D
Now to try and install WoW on my computer... eeeeep. :D will this be the end of basking_lizard? stay tuned!
