I recently heard the song "Fix You" by Coldplay while working on my novel and instantly fell in love with it. It's now my new favourite song. Here are the lyrics, and just seeing them makes me want to cry, just like I feel I can do every time I hear this song. It's just that moving and emotional.

It appears that my muse hides in funny places. Most of the time, she comes to me through music, other times she comes to me from reading another's work. Sometimes she'll appear in my head with a thought at a totally random time and place. Last Monday, I had an awkward incident happen at the horse farm I work at. I was out, trying to put a halter on a young horse, when one of the others it was turned out with got bit by a horsefly and turned around a kicked me right in the side of the knee. Well, it looks like we've got a dog now...for permanent. Mac, the dog I pet-sat over Christmas is now here for permanent. And he's a riot. Pictures of him are on my Facebook.

So, that's about it for now, until I think of something a little more useful to write about.

Well, I guess the time's gone by faster than I thought, which means that I haven't written an entry in like forever.

Yay! It's a new year and that means new beginnings; out with the old, in with the new. I have a lot of goals for this year, in several aspects, and now that I'm better and healthy again, I'm going to do my best to achieve them. Wow! I can hardly believe it's December already. Where did November go?
