After living 4+ hours from the closest IKEA for four years, I appreciate that I now live only 20 minutes from the closest "Swedish home way from home".
Meatballs, Daim, Ahlgrens bilar, Marabou milk chocolate, Fläderblomssaft!

I currently live in San Mateo (1-2 months temp. living until I can find my own place) but may move down to Mountain View or Santa Clara to be closer to SJSU where I will finish up my MBA degree this fall. (and I would be even closer to the IKEA in Palo Alto than I am now :-) )

Though I live just about 15 miles from an IKEA, I don't go there often. But yesterday I was there and came home with meatballs (which are in the oven even as I write), lingonberryand cloudberry jams, gravy, kneckebrod, ost, fiskeboller, osv, osv. After having fresh Fläderblomssaft in Norway, I was disappointed in their bottled variety and haven't bought it again.But the fresh stuff was outrageously delicious!
