Jess was the best there was.
She had everything covered in the ARC and kept tabs on all the teams in the field. Her station was one of the most sophisticated pieces of technology in the entire world and whilst only a few others could handle its complicated systems competently, she was the master.
No one could operate it like Jess could.
Today, Jess was already managing four teams and the anomaly sites they were assigned to. They were scattered about the country, miles apart, and several incursions had taken place.
She didn’t panic. She had everything under control.
