My friend in Germany booked us for two concerts. And gave her address in Germany as the place to deliver the tickets to. The problem that we've since discovered is that they will be dispatching the tickets (esp.) for the second concert) AFTER we're in the UK ( Read more... )

if you call them they will definitely understand your situation. Ask if it's really not allowed to have them keep your tickets so you can pick them up at the boxoffice

I was hoping I wouldn't have to call as calling from Canada can be an expensive pain in the bee-hind!

Get one of those pre-paid phone cards at 7-11 or the post office for $5-10 or so. If you use a landline it should be totally enough.

where did you e-mail? I've been searching high and low! and nada...

Everyone in our group is leaving at the same time, except for one friend, who won't be arrving until after the first concert... SO alas that doesn't work.

You booked with seetickets/gigsandtours? They usually don't send tickets out to overseas addresses anymore if the show is less than 3 weeks away. So if their estimated shipping date is that close to the concerts, you'll have to collect them at the box office anyway. Just call or mail them to make sure they don't try to ship the tix, it won't be a problem

I found this obscure contact form you're supposed to use, so I sent them an e-mail askign them to hold at the venues for pick-up! Sheesh you figure they would send out sooner for over seas people!!

It seems they do, if they get the tickets on time. I ordered tix for several West End shows with them and those always arrived a few days after I ordered. Concert tickets? Almost never *shrugs*

It seems they do this to stop people from re-selling concert tickets... which Is fine just UBER annoying when you don't live in the UK!
