I KNOW!!!! LOL!! I giggled so hard when I realized that they missed that. I'm sure it's easy to miss but still very amusing!

I cannot WAIT to get this book!
It's not released in the US until November, so I will definitely have to order it from the UK!

Really? I pre-ordered through the Science Fiction book club (got a good deal on both of John's books) and they say mine's already shipped - not sure what distributor they're using though.

Yep--Amazon US says it not officially available here until Nov. 15! And then the chances of me actually being able to find it locally are slim, so...UK, it is! :D

Not just extra special, it would make them worth a lot of money! I have an original movie poster of the second theater screening of The Empire Strikes Back when they had "a sneak preview of Revenge of the Jedi" at the bottom, and that poster is worth a LOT of money, now, because they changed the movie title to Return of the Jedi.

In the fandom world, goofs like that end up being worth a lot of money. Isn't that odd? If I were you, I'd watch for news that the error has been corrected, buy the new corrected version, and hold on to the one you have now as an item that will continue to appreciate in value as time goes by.

I am absolutely serious.

*lol* I hadn't noticed that.
Received my copy of the book yesterday, and really had to restrain myself so I won't read it all in one go. So far I like it even more than 'Anything Goes', probably because there's a lot in it about shows/events that I actually watched or at least heard about before and so have more of a connection to. I love the lists John and Carole added at the beginning of the chapters and the 'Table Talk' is fantastic :D

I wasn't sure that it was Davros who shot Capt Jack (page 201) but i haven't been back to the DVD yet to check.

The pages of the chapter in which Scott Gill is mentioned on virtually every page (I know him so well) are not listed in the index entry for Gill, Scott, partner

I love this book - it has made me smile and laugh and has cheered me up in these tricky financial times some of us find ourselves in.

Correct it was the red Dalek (supreme dalek?) that shot capt jack! (I just pulled it up!)

And the pages are there it's just broken up "I know him so well" is page 68-79

DIY 70-1
'ill health 75-9
flirtingb 78-9
sexuality 73-4, 78-9
stray cat 70-3

etc so it's thre just broken up into catergories :)!

The book was fantastic :)!
