Really? I pre-ordered through the Science Fiction book club (got a good deal on both of John's books) and they say mine's already shipped - not sure what distributor they're using though.
Yep--Amazon US says it not officially available here until Nov. 15! And then the chances of me actually being able to find it locally are slim, so...UK, it is! :D
I really want it now, but I really can't justify the international shipping that, with the exchange rate, I think makes it close to twice the American price. Especially since I'm so busy with school at the moment that I *shouldn't* have it yet, because I *would* read it immediately.
The really frustrating thing is that, for a variety of practical reasons, I really shouldn't even buy it when it's released on Amazon.com. I should wait and put it at the top of my Christmas list. We'll see if I can be that patient, 'cause I sure don't *want* to wait that long!
It's not released in the US until November, so I will definitely have to order it from the UK!
