One item sold, still the other two to go

The two jackets didn't sell. Again. I think ti's about the 3rd time I've listed the Small jacket.. each time lowering the price. I can't go any lower because it's just about at cost price now... and even then, with all the fees involved we're probably not going to make anything off this sale if it ever sells. Urgh. The large one I can bring down ( Read more... )

I hope you get your money quickly (that's the Ebay sellers wish to each other.) Don't you HATE it how sellers can't leave anything but a positive any more??

I'm actually only new to selling (a couple months old, really).. but yeah, I can totally understand it. There's a dispute link thing now instead of negative feedback? ... so, what's the point of calling it "positive" if there's nothing to mirror it..
haha could you write in the positive feedback a whole lot of negative stuff in CAPITAL LETTERS. That might work for a while? ha.

Have you had many experiences with bad buyers? Unpaying buyers? etc?

I've had a few that have taken AGES to pay.
The only problem I've really had was about 2 weeks ago (after 3 years on Ebay) - Megan sold her Playstation games and a chick emailed me 6 weeks after buying them and said they didn't work.
We think she might have copied them cause surely you'd email earlier than 6 weeks if something didn't work.
I refunded her just to get rid of her - she might have left me a neg and I have 100% pos that I wanted to keep. When we got the games back they worked fine.
That's someeone I would like to leave a neg for - she's a scammer and others need a warning - but I cant :(

It's a shame you had to refund her BEFORE she sent the items back.=\

Maybe try the Trading Post (online or otherwise) as a different arena to sell? Not sure how their fees compare, though.

It's really tough to sell at this time of year. I'm sorta annoyed that Jess didn't like EITHER jacket she bought (thru me, by request) because now it's impossible to sell them. They were current stock and easier to sell earlier in the season. But now we're nearing the end of this season & the 2009 stock is already being advertised... so and nobody wants to pay for the 2008 stock anymore - despite it being completely brand new.

Someone asked if I would consider selling it for over $50 less, and also waiving the postage & handling fee if she picked it up. URGH!? I can't even cover the fees, or make a profit in that case. I'm already down to cost price. This sucks. I wish I didn't have to deal with selling these jackets right now.
