IT IS HOT

Ugh. Heat. Humidity. Tons of goddamn bugs. Summer in Japan is wretched. Can't wait to get somewhere where it's not 30 degrees. Or at least somewhere that believes in using fans or air con rather than pretending hot weather will go away if you ignore it.

I'm procrastinating getting my suitcase out and cleaning my apartment by watching Freelance Read more... )

OMG, the weather is exactly the same in Korea! It was fine up until a couple weeks ago, and then suddenly it was like BAM humidity BAM tons of bugs and now it's muggy even at night time. You don't have an air conditioner at your place, though? D:

Oh, man, that sucks about the cash, sorry to hear that *Hugs* It's a good thing you have money in your account at home though; smart thinking on that. Ugh, curse money and stuff and having to buy things!

Yeah, it was the same here. Winter stayed around a long time, but then it all of a sudden jumped into a heat wave within the space of a week.

I do have air con at my apartment, but not at work. Trying to teach when it's 30+ degrees and so humid you want to pass out... Not fun. :/

Once I leave for Tokyo next Friday, any extra money I need will come from my home-account anyway. So if I can get through this week, it's no big deal. :)

Are you in Korea now? I disappeared from LJ for a while, not sure where everyone has migrated for the summer.

You don't have it at work? Holy crap, I would die. I can't believe they don't have air conditioning! I'm assuming that you're taking a vacation though, so at least you won't have to put up with that much longer.

So if I can get through this week, it's no big deal. :)

Oh, good! I'm glad to hear that. Money troubles are never fun, so it's good to know you're okay on $$

Yep! I got here in May (sorry I didn't make that clear, LOL). I was going to say that I hadn't seen you around here in a while and that it's nice to see you updating! Are you going to Comic Con?

I WISH I had it at work. Japan thinks that "cool biz" (ie, wearing short sleeves) make the heat easier to deal with. So slmost none of my schools will turn on so much as an electric fan in the teacher's room, let alone the classrooms. And at the education offices, they just don't USE their air con because they're too cheap to turn it on. But yeah, one more week left, so hopefully I can deal with that.

I wasn't updating for a while. Partly because I was playing World of Warcraft, partly because I was busy, partly because I was behind on watching things and didn't want to be spoiled by LJ. Getting back into it now, though.

Yes! I'm going to San Diego in a week and a half, so I'll be there for Comic Con again. Can't wait, it was so much fun last year. :)
