IT IS HOT
Ugh. Heat. Humidity. Tons of goddamn bugs. Summer in Japan is wretched. Can't wait to get somewhere where it's not 30 degrees. Or at least somewhere that believes in using fans or air con rather than pretending hot weather will go away if you ignore it.
I'm procrastinating getting my suitcase out and cleaning my apartment by watching Freelance Astronauts and I'm a Marvel/I'm a DC videos.
When I took money out today to pay my July rent in advance, I realised how broke I am right now. Very, very broke. My bank account back home is less dire since I've been sending money home now and then, but I haven't been this strapped for cash since I first arrived with only a few useless traveller's cheques to my name. That's what having to buy a car AND a laptop AND a plane ticket in the same space of time will do to your finances. BAD THINGS.
