Hey Annie, thanks so much for sharing that! It made me smile. Susan's passion for all things green and growing was such a defining and essential part of her, and it makes sense that some of that knowledge has filtered down to you by osmosis. :) And it's fun to know such little facts about the world around us - it makes details sharper and life richer. A lovely gift from your mother to you. ♥

Annie, that is such a lovely story to read. And I can totally relate about being a non-plant person. LOL. I joke about having black thumbs instead of green ones. But just because I don't get into gardening or plants, I can still appreciate that your mom loved it all, and I sure loved seeing the beautiful pictures she used to take, capturing all those bright colors and vibrant greens ( ... )
