I see a lot of denial there. Ianto in downward spiral, desperate.

I like his bit about Toshiko best.

Thanks. I think he feels a need to protect Tosh, hence bringing up Lisa during the "snog game" and his heroics later on in "Countryside." Even in "Exit Wounds," he volunteered to go to the Nuclear Power Station instead of Tosh.

Good points, all of them. I like the friendship we see between Ianto and Tosh, and I wish we'd seen more of it onscreen.
