I could have hand-waved the rogue Reaper thing...what really aggravated me was how easy it was to find out how to get into hell. Just pour holy water over a crossroads demon. Which makes Sam's anguished struggle to get Dean out of hell after 'No Rest for the Wicked' totally meaningless--and it would have been so simple to just have them find something about the Reaper in a Men of Letters book that Sam didn't have access to before! That really, really makes this episode hard for me to accept.

Jensen and Ty were the only thing that saved the episode at all for me.

I love your speculation about how the season might end...I only wish I could have faith in the writers at this point...
