I'm sorry that your remodel didn't go well but I still feel that you did a great job on this analysis.

I enjoyed the episode and I also enjoyed your analysis of said episode. The plot holes you mentioned crossed my mind as well. Especially giving Bobby just one more year - Show must have more for our incapacitated Bobby. Thank you. I eagerly await you post for 'Changing Channels'. :)

Terrific review as always. I agreed with all of your gripes; they were noticeable but not episode-wreckers. Although I disagreed with one of your glees: "His choice to play Patrick’s recovery from getting hit by the car entirely off the faces of Sam, Bobby, and old Dean was really fun." I found that so confusing and hard to follow I had to backtrack and rewatch to see who really stole the car. I would have preferred to see Patrick at least stand up or open the car door. But I'm not always the most observant person; I certainly didn't notice all of the new changes in Bobby's abode to accomodate his new handicap.

But this? "Bobby, Dean, and Sam all claimed that they could do what they wanted with their lives, spending them however they wished, but the truth was that their lives belong not just to them, but to each other. And that’s also true of all of us. We’re family. We belong." Made of win. Good job.

Sadly, I also was completely confused by what happened, vis Patrick and the car. Neither hubby nor I could figure out what really happened. I didn't see it until my 2nd viewing. On the 2nd viewing, I DID hear the slam of a car door, while the camera was on Dean, but I would have prefered to see the door slam, lol.

But I also agree with that: Their lives belong to each other. WIN! :-)

Excellent analysis and it quite ameliorated some of the gripes I had with the episode. Concise and crystal clear.

Thank you for sharing.

Oh, man, you are still suffering remodel woes? I'm so sorry! *HUGS*

Meanwhile, though, as ever, thank you for your delightful, insightful review. You hit on all the "huh?" moments I noted, and you highlight all the stuff I'm still struggling to put words to. :-)

THANK YOU! I just love reading all the layers of your analysis, from the script to production values. *HUGS!*

I hope things on the home front will settle down, soon ....
