Fog on a bike and other Saturday misadventures...

Yesterday I went ridin' before goin' of to work. It was high clouds at the house, but got foggier as I rode west. I slowed down my speed because my face shield collected moisture makin hard to see clearly. I stopped a couple of time to clear it off with my glove. Having never ridden in the rain, I assume that is less of a problem than with fog ( Read more... )

I think riding in pouring rain creates more fog, 'specially on the inside.

They have a machine to do that? We put a black tarp on the lawn for all of spring and then rototilled it.

Yeah, it's kinda like an areator or rototiller, if you've ever used one of them. Engine sits on top, a large rubberized wheel under that and behind the wheel is a horizontal blade about 12" long. The weight of the machine compressess the sod, the blade when engaged, works back and forth under the sod cutting it.

this was the front year and my client wanted to remove the sod and get the new plants in. We're doing it to lessen her water usage.
