*nods* I don't generally use Google for spelling, as we have aspell on the IRC bot at home (I do maths in the bot instead of Google too) which for me and my signing deaf mate is more useful. I think you can download interfaces for aspell and install it in Windows - I certainly have it on my work windows box as part of something else.

I didn't know! I don't use Google much - on principle I prefer Ixquick who are the "we respect your privacy" lot, so I only switch to Google if Ixquick fails me. But if I had known of it, I probably would have used this today when I was looking up a word online. So thanks.

*nods* re Google being evil. I am in several minds about it and 'good enough not to annoy me' alternatives so I'll look into ixquick as an alternative.

I wonder if your 'understanding of meaning' as a person with dyslexia is similar or different to my deafness related language impairment with words. One for IRL discussion one day perhaps.
