Google has a define feature which will define a word or a phrase.
If you use "Define: WORD" then you will get multiple results for that word, each linking to the source for it.
Assessing the authenticity and authoritativeness of the results is left as an exercise for the reader.
I find this feature very useful, I probably use it a few times a day where I am unsure of how accurate the word I want to use is or if I'm misusing a word. It's better than a dictionary cos I see the word in context much more.
