Did you hear that Rand Paul said Obama's criticism of BP is "unAmerican"?
Paul even calls the oil spill an "accident" instead of a crime!
Another reason I worry about this dude become a US senator!

I'm not worried. It'll backfire. Obama is getting plenty of criticism from the right about not doing enough. I don't think that most people are going to be receptive to a someone defending the company that pretty much single-handedly destroyed that entire part of the country for several years if not a decade.

Yeah, especially if they live in the immediate areas, or make a living from the sea.

Exactly. They might not go all out with a "we should never drill again/oil is bad" slogan, but they're not going to be chanting "drill, baby, drill" anytime soon either.
