A Lesson in Sharing

The members of the Disciplinary Committee were nice people, but sometimes Mamori thought they were also the most idiotic bunch she’d ever had to deal with. Seriously, who thinks throwing a pie at Hiruma is going to make him stop terrorizing the whole school? That’s probably just a death wish for the student who threw said pie and a wish the Committee thought was actually a good idea.

Mamori sighed and ignored their antics while she looked at the pile of paperwork she was supposed to be sorting through. It was just a list of Hiruma’s behaviors and habits and not a very good one at that. It would just be more productive for her if she set the entire thing on fire.

Suddenly that didn’t seem like such a bad idea.

“Excuse me, I have to step out for a minute.” Mamori announced as she stood up with a little bow. Being female, no one would question her need for leaving, something Mamori was endlessly thankful for. She walked down the halls of the school and out the doors on to the campus proper. Once there she headed to the building in the back that was Hiruma’s domain.

Hiruma was more confused than surprised to see Mamori coming into the clubhouse at this hour. He knew the Disciplinary Committee was currently holding a meeting that was supposed to be finding tactics for dealing with him, so the fact she wasn’t still there was slightly perplexing. Maybe the fucking manager finally realized how pointless an activity was and decided to quit the Committee and throw herself completely into his Football Club.

“I’m here on behalf of the Disciplinary Committee.” Mamori announced as she stepped into the room, her head high and proud.

“Oh?” Hiruma smirked, already amused. So they had sent her out on a confrontation mission….

“Yes, they believe you need to learn how to share,” Mamori explained, “so I will be borrowing your flame thrower.” And without any further ado, Mamori went back into the locker room, opened his locker, and started removing his firearms to unbury the flame thrower.

“What the fuck?” Hiruma blinked once, hoping he had been dreaming. The Disciplinary Committee was borrowing his flame thrower!? Setting his laptop aside, Hiruma got up and walked into the locker room, trying to suppress his distress.

“And what, pray tell, would the fucking goodie-to-shoes committee be wanting my flame thrower for?” Hiruma demanded. By this time Mamori had gotten the flame thrower and was currently putting the gas tank on her back.

“Oh they don’t want it,” Mamori correct Hiruma, “they need it.”

“Need it.” Hiruma deadpanned. “Isn’t there a fucking incinerator for all that shit?”

“Hiruma-kun,” Mamori turned around and looked him in the eye, “I’m getting it on their behalf, for their benefit.”

Hiruma’s eyebrows shot up in mild surprise. “You’re getting it for their fucking benefit?”

“Yes, their benefit.” Mamori gave him a small, evil smirk. Hiruma’s mouth exploded into an enormous, scary grin.

“I’m following you to ‘take fucking responsibility’ for anything you burn.” Hiruma’s eyes were full of glee. Mamori only nodded and the two made their way back to the Committee’s room. On the way in, Mamori also snagged a bucket of water so that if she did light something important on fire they could put it out.

To say the Committee was surprised when Mamori slammed open the door, flame thrower on her back and at the ready, would have been an understatement. She marched into the room, grinning like a mad woman, and proceeded to torch the pointless paperwork.

“Anezaki-san!” The Committee President wailed.

“Fuck off and let her work.” Hiruma growled at the man, making him take several steps back. Everyone in the room had been so shaken by Mamori that they completely didn’t notice Hiruma had come in with her, carrying a bucket.

To his complete unsurprise, Mamori had managed to set the documents and the table on fire. With a shake of the head, Hiruma used the water to put out the flames. Since he had used very little water to do that, he turned around and sloshed the rest of the bucket over the Committee.

“Fucking awake now?” Hiruma asked them.

“You just ruined my make-up!” One of the girls whined.

“Tough shit.” Hiruma snapped back at her, having no tolerance for that sort of thing. “I want all of you fuckers to have a good look at what just happened.”

Hiruma was met with an obedient silence.

“Because this here is proof that I can fucking share.” Hiruma announced. “So quit telling me I’m fucking heartless.” And with that Hiruma walked out of the room, making a point to drop the bucket in the room on his way out.

“Y-you borrowed his flame thrower!?” The President gasped.

“Yes and all I did was ask nicely.” Mamori smiled sweetly. “Hiruma-kun is willing to cooperate if you just ask nicely and stay out of his way. Now I have to go give this back to him.”

Mamori left the astonished Committee behind and met up with Hiruma in the hallway.

“That felt good.” Mamori smiled as she fell in step with him.

Hiruma only responded by pulling out his cell phone and showing her a little video of the incident. Instead of ranting at him for blackmailing her, Mamori burst out laughing.

“Oh! Their faces!!” Mamori laughed.

“You’re still being rather unsightly for a member of that Committee,” Hiruma reminded her, hoping she’d return back to her normal reaction.

“Yes but that’s not just blackmail for on me, Hiruma-kun,” Mamori reminded him with a grin, “there’s blackmail on you too.”

“Because this here is proof that I can fucking share. So quit telling me I’m fucking heartless.” The little phone squeaked in Hiruma’s voice. Hiruma didn’t appear to react but he did pale slightly.

“So I don’t really think,” Mamori pulled out her own phone and showed him that she also had a recording of the incident, “you’re going to get much use out of it.”

“You’re fucking blackmailing me.” Hiruma stared at her.

“And it’s, as you would say, ‘fucking working’, isn’t it?” Mamori put her phone away.

Hiruma broke out into another grin. “There’s hope for you yet, fucking manager!”
