I saw the stadium as I was going to work, there wasn't too many people there. Even my dad didn't bother to come, he's an ALCORN alumnus. At least I had an excuse not to go because of work.
It was a few people there than last year and at least it didn't rain this year. He would have been in good compmnay, there were a lot of Alcornites there in attendance.
It was a pretty pitiful game, sadly. I was rather embarassed for my boys. We ha like one bright spot all game and he almost got hurt.
My aunt and uncle here in JXN are Alcornites as well, but the rest of Mom's fam are JSU alums. I'm the only grandchild that went to a parents' alma mater, I don't know what that says, other than most of my family was shocked when they found out I wasn't going to Mississippi College or Millsaps.
How did your folks react when you didn't go to HBCU? Although I could have ended up in USM as well, come tot think of it.....
