And I am still on the highest possible high. Not even the prick actions of the MM today (basically reneging on something promised to me, but that's all right, it's all good- I got it under control and so does the big man upstairs, and I am leaving it alone) and an insanely busy afternoon could dampen my mood ( Read more... )

You're getting a tattoo? @_@ Screw the family and anyone else who doesn't like it--last I checked, you were waaaaay over 18. I'd be careful with it in the work environment though.

Do you have your artist picked out?

Oh, I am getting it someplace I can cover but still is not *too* hidden. Maybe my shoulder on my right side, I think that would be nice. I especially like the idea of getting a gold one.

No artist yet, but me and a friend are looking into some over the next couple of weeks, since she is getting one as well. Her brother has a few so we might check out his person. Personally, I'd love to get one from Kat Von-D, but man, who can afford to fly to LA? :)

It's not that expensive, especially as we're getting into the warmer months. I'd worry more about the hotel...as well as that Kat Von-D could have a long waiting list if she (he?) is popular. My ex had his done in New Hampshire by the son of a well-known artist who had at the time a two year waiting list. I forget her name...Julie something. Right over the Massachusetts border.

I mena, I could stay with my brother, but then I'd have to rely on him for transport. Which sucks, but at least I'd get there.

Kat is a female...her work is just gorgeous. Beautiful work. Which is why she can be selective. :) But I'd love to get one from her, no question.
