Okay, only two of my gazillion pups have interracted with Jaime, and they are Lola and Brice. In Lola's case, I sure hope that his impression of her so far is a good one. XD

Lola - You have to ask about a good impression? Heh. Yeah, if it wasn't obvious, Jaime's definitely smitten with Lola. I initially thought he might be turned off by her perkiness (don't ask me where that came from, probably headcanon), but decided against that because Lola is genuinely sunny, which is completely different than the high-school-cheerleader version of perky he's encountered elsewhere. He's kind of embarrassed at his fumbling, even though she finds it cute

Aww. *__* Yes, Lola is definitely finding him cute, and she's going to proceed to be pretty much floating on air now for a couple of days. Like... literally float, even. They do that, angels, I've heard somewhere.

Jaime is very different from her last boyfriend, in many ways. The main one being that he's not an angel. This will cause Lola to be very protective of him, because although she knows about the scarab and the superhero thing, it hasn't really registered that he presumably can take care of himself. He is human, and he is Jaime, thus, he must be protected at all costs. So there.

Not sure on how Lola's gonna react to the armor, if/when that comes up. She doesn't freak easily, as you may have figured out by now, but if he looks in pain then yeah, she's going to fuss over him. She won't force him into anything, though. If he wants to show her, that's fine, and if he doesn't she can deal with that, too. After all, she has the whole 'beautiful, glowing angelic being with halo and wings' deal that's sort of an armor, too, that she

It occurs to me that it's very easy to want to be protective of Jaime. I think Molly Michon just sort-of-adopted him. As for how he'll react... well, that depends on what she's trying to protect him from. He does NOT want anyone he cares about to get hurt because of him. Especially if he can prevent it. So it might be a point of contention, depending on whether or not it's something in the scarab's league. The only times he's ever really jumped into a fight is to protect somebody he cares about. ...Which this would count as. If Maia's planning to do something to Brice, he'll get involved at least in the aftermath. He believes in sticking by your friends and letting them back you up as well.

The armor is going to come up, definitely. Not sure how or when. I'm trying to ignore the creativity demons who want it to get stuck so he can't shut it down. Even though they say if it happens on Halloween he won't have to lock himself in his room. *sigh* Maia already brought it out partially, so if she tries to start something... I don't know.

Prima here, and I'm not actually sure whether any of my chars but Nebulon have met Jaime (I want to remedy that -- he's awesome. Jaime, not Nebulon, natch), but I think this meme is a neat idea.

Ahahaha. Well, this isn't gonna be anywhere near as tl;dr as the last one, that's for sure. (Poor Neb, I'm sure he's crushed at being considered not-awesome.) ...there are a lot of people Jaime needs to meet, really.

Nebulon ...is the weird green alien with gross teeth he saw during the magicked food incident. Even without the food effect coloring his judgment, Jaime's got to admit that Nebulon's teeth were pretty disgusting. As for why a green alien is gorging himself on candy like that, he doesn't really want to know. XD

Maia is a bugnuts (pun intended) crazy bitch who Jaime is just going to stay clear of as much as possible. (Which, of course, means he's going to run into her again.) This isn't entirely out of self-preservation - the scarab DOES NOT LIKE MAIA at all, she has no qualms about starting a fight, and if they mix it up again, he's concerned about collateral damage. And if she's got any mind control abilities stronger than what she did at his Sorting... that'll mean the scarab will take control, and it will probably go OFF on her. For all he knows, it might take out a wing of the castle if it has to in order to hurt her. Jaime is not eager for that to happen

...did I mention Jaime has not neglected to notice the demon part or the willingness to kill? At all? He's going to get caught in the crossfire, isn't he?

Making Lola sad is the last thing he wants to do. (Same with making Lola worry, and that may come back to bite him later, though...)

Cool! I'd like to know of Jaime's impressions of Ron and George. George moreso than Ron, as she's new. Also, so much of her depends on how others see her, since being a comfort to people is such a large part of her canon character.

Okay, then I'll get the long one done first. Be warned for incoherence, the caffeine isn't quite working. (I slept through both alarms for 13 straight hours, I have no idea why.)

George - I guess it goes without saying that George threw Jaime for a loop. Not because she was able to sense the scarab's presence, it seems like every other person at Hogwarts can do that. What really surprised him was that she really seemed to be happy to meet both of them. That reaction was something completely out of the range of possibility for him - even the bad guys are NOT HAPPY about the scarab (for totally different reasons, but still!). It also made him a little bit hopeful, thinking maybe she could perceive something good about it that he'd missed. I doubt he'll ever ask her for a reading, since the last person who did try really got hurt and he couldn't even stop it, much less even sense what the scarab was doing. He might get the courage to ask her what she could see without trying to probe it further

Yes, it was very helpful! Thanks a bunch. So far both of my characters seem to really like Jaime (well, George pretty much likes everybody. It's very hard for George not to at least see some good in a person), and Ron is stoked to have met a Cartongue.
