you can never go home again. i have been nostalgic for the living room at my parents house...nostalgic for the enormous hi-fi record player monstrosity we had. it had these two speakers hidden behind tweed covering with carved wood in sort of cathedral window looking design...you open the top and inside is a turntable and a deep slot for storing ( Read more... )

I remember an 8-track of Mountain's Mississippi Queen floating around the house. That's freakin' random. I don't know who in the family would have listened to it.

ohhhhh the sonics...very reminiscient of the band "busted eyes are black" from denver but not as good,dylan though, i would make love to dylan.

yes, yes, the sonics were, shall we say, 'arcade forest fire subterranean, watchtoweresque, marauders of style and substance'

i believe it was the german philosopher Wittgenstein, an instructor at the famous art school, Bauhaus, or maybe he was the bassist in Bauhaus, or maybe the bassist in Bow Wow Wow...ah, it dinoth matrix none...his therom went like this:
