I don't know? Maybe because I'm afraid I'll be bad at it. Or turn into my father or something. I wasn't really anticipating assuming the throne so soon. I knew I was probably going to, but I always thought my uncle would rule first. The crown's rightfully his, after all.

Don't be. I must say that it was...nice to be around a lot of people and not get tons of attention on the day. I hated that about being a prince. You get a big party, but you realize that it's more of an excuse for your parents to mingle with the nobility that's not normally in the capital than anything related to your birthday.
