(Note to people: this is a customized version of "30 days". I found different versions so I mashed them up, added some questions myself and here we are)
Day 1: The Moment That Made You a Delena Shipper

If you follow me journal, you probably already know this. I was interested in Damon and Elena as a couple before this episode because they had great scenes and chemistry and I saw the potential and I was so hooked up and really liked them. But hardcore shipping doesn't come easily for me. I need a moment, a powerful moment that seals the ship in my heart forever.
And this was it for me.
I saw Elena go past all she held on to and let her barriers down, dancing with Damon. I saw Damon giving himself a chance to show different sides of him, his gray area.
If we had hints of their attraction and understanding before (1.03, 1.14, BLOODLINES etc) here it comes all in play: the glances, the physical reactions, the light smiles, the chemistry, the trust in each other, the compassion and love...we have a wonderful dance scene where Damon and Elena forget about Stefan for a while and just explore a different world, they explore each other as possible loves.
