Ahhhhhhhh..... peace and quiet!!
J had her friends birthday ice skating party/sleepover last night. Once skating was over and everyone got home around 10 PM, there were seven girls under the age of 12 in the house -- more specifically, the living room. Cake and ice cream were served at 10:40 PM

Even though I really don't like kids that much in general, LOL. Was a little ??? at the one who sulked when I said she couldn't sit in front because J wanted to and it was J's birthday. (not to mention the fact that, uh, I consider J to be family... and the other kids not so much) Oh well. Just gotta laugh. ;) (like I did when the one girl said her parents wanted her to eat meat because she was about to go through puberty- that sounded like it came right out of a sitcom!)
BTW I loved seeing M wear the dress I'd bought her for her bday!

IIRC, the sulky one was K, who frankly was getting on my nerves with the constant whining and "I don't like this, I don't like that". It's not that hard to see that she's an only child...
Don't get me wrong, she's a good kid, but last night she was getting on my nerves. Me thinks she's used to being the center of attention, and yesterday she wasn't.
Pizza Girl was M4, and yes, that was funny. She is a neat and intelligent kid.
BTW I loved seeing M wear the dress I'd bought her for her bday!
M loves that dress, and she looks adorable in it. :-)

Whoever it was was all feeling entitled because she is the oldest. C said they flipped a coin for who sat in front in her car- but that makes more sense b/c the birthday girl wasn't there.
They did seem like very nice kids in general, and I'm glad J has more friends than I did at that age.
Too bad no one had a camera today- would love a photo of M in that dress sometime. I'm glad she loves it--- I love giving presents and it makes me even happier when I pick out things that people like. (although I know that with kids, sometimes it's just hit and miss with what they will really like)
