Biography: Born on Satedan date 0326-1-191, equivalent of Earth date 3/23/70. Attended a well-known Satedan higher learning program specializing in pre-military training. Enlisted equivalent of 1986. Transferred to Specialist division equivalent of 1989. [Specialist division consisted of elite soldiers specially trained in fighting the Wraith. Specialties were hand-to-hand and a large range of Satedan energy weapons. An analogy can be drawn to Navy SEALs or the Army Rangers.] Promoted to officer rank in equivalent of 1991. Dex spent two years traveling to search out new methods of fighting the Wraith, a tradition in the Specialist corps. Returned to Sateda equivalent of six months before the Wraith attacked.
