yesterday i hung out with asutin and allie for a little at austin's house (austin jumped out from behind her door with a fake samurai sword, which was pretty scary). then allie left for lifeguarding so austin and me hung out with richard, whom i hadn't seen since school got out, so that was awesome ( Read more... )

yayyy yesterday was super cool. creative writing was less boring then than today. (ugh....we did elementary school grammar for 50 min.) but anyway, i met andrew halfway to my house and we biked back to my house and he stayed until he had to go to work. so my mom fainted on her plane ride back from China and had an out of body experience, apparently. she had low blood pressure. she's okay now though. i think all the stress of traveling (she traveled 3 days before the china trip) and the strangeness of knowing when to take pills probably messed it up. Sometimes I wonder how much life we waste just preparing for it. The real world, some people say. But what if we didnt'? What if we went out into the world with no knowledge? Could we still be as happy with no idea of what a verb was, or the sum of the angles of a triangle? I mean it's nice in some ways, to know some things...I think it saves us ( Read more... )
