Successes and Failures: tofu

I like tofu. I try to eat it at least once a week. The key to making a good tofu dish is to allow the tofu to absorb the flavors of the other ingredients in the dish. I made three tofu dishes recently. One had a recipe that looked fabulous: a tofu scramble with spices, dried cranberries, fennel, and pistachio nuts, all things I really like. It ( Read more... )

That tofu steak and the kebabs looks awesome. I might have to make that recipe.

Oh and care to post the tofu steak recipe? I think I'm going to buy that book eventually, but with the 2 rent + mortgage combo that Mike and I have coming up, I'm trying to keep side spending at a very bare minimum. So if you wouldn't mind posting or emailing, I'd love to try it! No worries if you don't feel like typing it out as I'm probably going to end up buying that cookbook at some point.
