I wish there were vegan cake balls I could learn to make.. I'm just starting to learn how to make vegan cakes and I still have yet to get how to make them fluffy ...bleh

:/ Vegan cakes do tend to have heavier ingredients, as far as I can tell. I haven't yet tried baking vegan, but I did a little googling, and there's a vanilla/spice cake recipe in this thread that might be promising! http://www.mothering.com/community/t/530251/is-there-a-such-thing-as-a-fluffy-vegan-cake

It's not red velvet, but it's a start :) Since there's nothing heavy in it, maybe it'll actually be fluffy. Sorry I can't be of more help!
