Pecan Chocolate Brownies

There must be hundreds or thousands of recipes that claim to make "perfect" chocolate brownies. I've tried some great ones over the years, but none were ever spot on until last night. These brownies are crunchy on the outside without being dry, and gooey in the middle without being uncooked or like wet cake.

Kinda jealous here. I can cook, but I never like going and getting this one type of sugar and then that type of sugar and such.

I know, it's what makes things good, but I can be lazy.

At least I'm not really hungry right now.

I know what you mean, I do a lot of baking though so I generally already have things. What sugar do you have? You should be able to use just caster sugar or whatever, they might not be quite as gooey but they should still taste nice. (By the way, do not substitute half the caster for dark muscovado like I did some time after 2am. We had to eat that batch off the sheet a spoonful at a time, they were so sticky.)
Try it and let us know!
