Thank you! He's finally learned how to manipulate us with his cuteness. ;)

I may try these (the last "dog-friendly" recipe I saw had potatoes in it and my dog cannot eat potatoes)

Hum what can I use to replace honey? (I don't have any at home and don't plan to)

Hmm.. I'm not sure if the honey is just used as a sweetener in this or if it's some kind of reaction with the sugar in correlation with the other ingredients.. but I've made (soft) dog cookies before that contain absolutely no sweeteners aside from the naturally sweet banana, and they turned out OK. If you're willing to experiment, I'd make a half batch without it and see how they turn out.. especially since there isn't much of it in the recipe to begin with. (It's not like you're making sugar cookies and omitting the sugar!)

Argh! I was enamored with your dog even before I knew his name was Butters. He is adorable.

So were we - and then the foster group told us his name, and we were hooked! Took him home that day. :)

I have plenty of friends with dogs, I'll have to remember this recipe. Butters has my vote! What a cutey-pie.
